This is awesome, you can video both sides of a conversation at the same time with this and your iPhone. Very cool.

The Unofficial iPhone GamePad Coming Soon
“Fed up with using your iPhone’s touch screen for games and looking for a proper gamepad experience? Look no further, because the iControlPad will be with you soon. The device has been in development for some time. It allows you to fit a jailbroken iPhone in between two side clips that hold a gamepad below the phone in landscape mode, like you would a Nintendo DS. It’s connected with a sync cable. A different form of the iControlPad appeared before in 2008, but the developers decided not to go with that design, as it resulted in poor controls and had a problem that prevented you from using it on different devices.”—CNET
Kinda defeats the portability factor, but I suppose if you’re a hardcore gamer, this may appeal to you. Do hardcore gamers enjoy iPhone games?
Pretty Neat…

This is all sorts of cool. I wanted to own one before, but now I really want one. It really is an entertainment piece with so many options…and that is some tough Velcro!

Are you ready for the big internet crunch?
I can not wait for people to start panicking and overreacting over this.
“The internet as we know it is reaching its limits. Within 18 months it is estimated that the number of new devices able to connect to the world wide web will plummet as we run out of “IP addresses” — the unique codes that provide access to the internet for everything from PCs to smart phones. ”The internet as we know it will no longer be able to grow,” Daniel Karrenberg, chief scientist at RIPE NCC, the organization that issues IP addresses in Europe, told CNN. ”That doesn’t mean it will cease to function, but entry could be limited to new devices. “Some estimate that by September 2011 the last large batches of addresses will be issued, meaning that months after that date there will be no new addresses available.”

Seems like a pretty decent idea. I shall try this out.
Via: rocketboomtech:Wake Up World is the world’s first social alarm clock. The recently-developed iPhone app, which costs $0.99, supplies you with a username and secret code upon registering. You then share your secret code with other Wake Up World users, who can send you videos which appear at the time you set your alarm to “wake” you. One of the clever aspects of this app is that it’s inherently social and offers a built-in incentive for people to recommend the app to their loved ones, friends, or even strangers (chatroulette-style) for shared and surprising experiences.
